| Photochemical
Reactor: |
Up
to 1 l capacity. |
| High
Pressure Reactor: |
We
have access to a high-pressure reactor (autoclave) with a 1
l capacity, operating up to 200 bar and 300 °C, and also
to a high pressure hydrogenation apparatus with a 2 l capacity. |
| Flash
vacuum pyrolysis: |
We
have a large flash vacuum pyrolysis rig
with which we can pyrolyse 50 to 100 g in one run, and which
is capable of handling non-condensable extruded gases (e.g.
nitrogen). |
|
Using the above facilities, we can perform the majority of
standard organic reactions, including atmospheric pressure
catalytic hydrogenation, Balz-Schiemann fluorinations, aromatic
chlorinations and brominations, Grignard reactions, butyl
lithium reactions, liquid ammonia reactions, reactions involving
inorganic cyanides, etc.
